3 cakes Tofu- cubes fried
1″ Ginger- smashed
4 Salam leaves
1/3 cup Coconut milk
½ tsp Palm sugar
1tbsp Oil + Oil for frying
Salt to taste
To be boiled till chillies are soft
5 Fresh Red Chilies
2 Hot Chilies
½” Fresh Turmeric
To be fried to golden brown and blended
5 cloves Garlic
Heat oil and fry the ginger & salam leaves.
Add the blended chilli paste and fry for a couple of minutes.
Add fried shallot and garlic paste.
Fry for a few more minutes and add palm sugar, coconut milk,
Salt and about ¼ cup of water.
Cook till the tofu is coated with the gravy.
Serve with steamed rice
