Nachos with Salsa and Guacamole

Nacho Cheese Sauce – Ingredients & Method

2tbsp Butter

1tbsp Plain flour

1cup Hot milk

8 ozs Velveeta cheese

Melt butter and fry flour. As it bubbles add hot milk and stir into a smooth sauce

Add velveeta cheese and mix till blended into a smooth sauce

Salsa – Ingredient & Method

1 can (280gms) Diced tomatoes with green chilies

1 large Onion- chopped

1 clove Garlic – minced

1tsp Cumin powder

2tsp Lemon juice

¼ cup Coriander leaves

Few drops Tabasco

Mix all the ingredients and refrigerate.

Guacamole – Ingredients & Method

3-4 Avocados

3 Green chilies- minced

¼ cup Coriander leaves- minced

1medium Onion-chopped

1medium Tomato chopped

2tbsp Lemon juice

Salt and pepper

Scoop out the avocado flesh. Mash. Mix all the ingredients well.


Place Nachos on a platter in a single layer. Top chips with refried beans.

Pour hot cheese sauce over. Sprinkle  chopped spring onions.

Serve with salsa, guacamole, and dollops of sour cream on top.
